How does Trinnov Optimizer work?
Utilizing a specific 4 microphone acoustic probe, the Optimizer truly analyses the sound field generated by your loudspeakers in the monitoring environment. The system grabs much more information on the sound field than any other calibration microphone, including loudspeakers 3D positions, loudspeakers characteristics and room characteristics.

Precise phantom images
Based on unique patented technologies, Trinnov Optimizer applies an optimal compensation to deliver precise phantom images for stereo and multichannel sound. Furthermore, knowing the exact 3D loudspeaker positions makes it possible to retrieve the correct localization over an incorrect loudspeaker layout.

The Optimizer is a room correction processor designed for the most demanding audio professionals and enthusiasts. Its goal is to achieve the highest transparency for the reproduction of audio, either in the studio or at home.

Simply put, the Optimizer allows:

The system is based on the measurement of the characteristics of the loudspeaker layout and a digital processing which compensates for the measured imperfections.

In terms of functionality, the Optimizer mainly provides 3 feature sets that can be used independently from one another:
» Correction of the Room’s Acoustics: this is the main purpose of the Optimizer, and is usually required by all users;
» Correction of Loudspeaker Positions: this goes from automatically adding the proper delays at each loudspeaker, to the patented remapping functionality based on Trinnov’s acoustic field processing technology.
» Routing and Level settings of inputs and outputs (Audio Matrix functionality): simple but highly useful routing functionality to fit any kind of system setup.
